Call for Papers and Authors' Instructions

  • Applications to present a paper at WEEC 2007 will open in August 2006.
  • All applications to present abstracts must be submitted online by 30 November 2006.
  • No late abstracts will be accepted.
  • All applicants will be contacted regarding the acceptance status of their application by 15 January 2007.
  • All delegates presenting papers are required to submit a full paper for inclusion on the Proceedings CD by 30 March 2007.

Abstracts

  • The abstracts submitted could be for full length papers, posters or workshops.
  • Abstracts are to be limited to a maximum of 100 words.
  • Please make use of the "Intent to Submit" form to submit your abstract and ensure the proposed title is included. This form is available online on weec2007.com
  • All abstracts are to be submitted online by 30 November 2006.
  • No late abstracts will be accepted and no extensions will be granted.
  • All applicants will be contacted regarding the acceptance status of their application by 31 January 2007.
  • A book of abstracts will be included in the Congress registration pack.

Full Papers

  • All delegates presenting papers are required to submit a full paper (maximum of 3000 words) for inclusion on the Proceedings CD by 30 March 2007. Full papers will be refereed and edited.
  • Please refer to the "Guidelines for full paper presentations" on the website for further details.

Posters

  • Posters are invited to address the Congress theme, and sub-themes.
  • Abstracts for posters must be submitted online. There will be two sessions dedicated to posters during the programme.
  • All delegates presenting posters are required to submit a 1200 word summary of the poster for inclusion on the Proceedings CD by 30 March 2007. Poster summaries will be edited but not refereed.
  • Posters will be displayed in the Exhibition Hall and entrance to the parallel venues for the duration of the Congress.
  • Posters must be put up for display from 15h00 on Monday, 2 July 2007 and removed on Thursday, 5 July at 17h00.

Workshops

  • The programme will also accommodate a limited number of one and two hour workshops.
  • Abstracts for workshops must be submitted on-line, and should address the Congress theme and sub-themes.
  • Refer to the 'Guidelines for workshops' on the website for further details.

Proceedings

  • The Proceedings of WEEC 2007 will be available on CD. Delegates will receive a copy of the Proceedings in the Congress bag.

Presenter Registration

  • Please note that WEEC 2007 is unfortunately not in a position to offer complementary registration to Presenters. Should you be accepted to present, registration to attend the Congress will be for your own account.
  • Presenters registration closes on 30 March 2007.
  • If your registration fee is not received by this date, your presentation will not be included in the Congress programme and proceedings.
